You GUYS. I am so so so excited to be sharing this North Carolina Art Gallery Wedding. Seriously. Once day I sent a whiney text to my (stylist) friend Taylor. She had moved away in the last few years and I always wanted to shoot a Styled Wedding with her. Anyways I was telling her how I missed her and had this very raw idea for a styled shoot wished she were here to help. Well Taylor being who she is said she'd be more than happy to do it if I'd come put to Chaple Hill, NC to shoot it. So of course I did and I don't regret it one bit!!
The idea behind the wedding was boho meets modern. I knew I wanted blues and gold for the wedding tones. Taylor brought in the idea of two artist getting married in the space where they showed their work. I thought a reception in an Art Gallery was such a great alternative to a traditional reception.
Take a look...
We used pottery by HAAND. Imagine all of your guests being able to go home with a custom made cup as their wedding favor!
Oh and they were just as delicious as they were beautiful.
When I saw the ring from Emily, I just started swooning. I uh, think I may have lost my wedding ring.. Guess I'll need a new one just like this!
I am still swooning over this bouquet. It is full of garden roses, thistle, anemones, dahlias and various local wild greenery that Becky found in the area. Lovely, right?
SERIOUSLY. This floral head crown... Becky is a floral genius.
