I've been in Jax about 10 years now. I didn't love it when I moved here. Then I moved into Murray Hill. I love this city with all that I am. I want to see it grow. I have felt for sometime that the wedding industry is lacking and behind the curve. For a city full of creatives we sure have a lot of golf, country clubs, and church venues. Those places are fine but they don't scream Jacksonville to me. An old warehouse says Jax to me. I think people are afraid to just ask to use buildings, record stores, vintage shops, coffee shops, bars ect ect. However I AM NOT. I was connected with Steve and his amazing building over in 5 Points and I just knew I had to shoot a styled wedding there.
I called some of my favorite vendors here in town and we started working towards a shoot that we wanted to see more of in this town. I hope you like it and get inspired to think outside of the box for your wedding day.
