Creating Space for Connection: a look at early month sessions.
A month ago, I put out a call asking if anyone had a 3-month-old and would be willing to do a shoot with me. Honestly, I wasn’t prepared for the response—HUNDREDS of you reached out. It was both heartwarming and overwhelming. I ended up saying yes to a few, and while I felt so honored by the flood of interest, saying no to so many of you wasn’t easy. Thank you to everyone who trusted me and shared your stories—it was a reminder of how beautiful and diverse the parenting journey really is.
The hope of the sessions is that I would capture something that’s always been close to my heart: skin-to-skin moments. There’s something timeless and grounding about seeing that raw connection between a parent and their little one. It’s not the kind of thing you see a lot of in newborn or early-month photography, but that’s exactly why I wanted to create space for it. These moments feel vulnerable, real, and undeniably tender—like they’re frozen in time, a snapshot of love in its purest form.
I can’t stop staring at them—seriously, do you love them as much as I do? There’s a quiet magic in these images, a softness that speaks volumes without saying a word. I hope they remind you, whether you’re a parent or not, of the beauty in simple, unfiltered connection. Thank you for letting me share this piece of my heart—and for trusting me to capture yours.
