Mid day? In the heat of Florida Summer? Back yard? Hell yeah - if that's how you want to do it. Meghan and Cory knew they wanted an intimate wedding. Instead of investing all their money into a venue they poured it into their home and LET ME TELL YOU it was perfect. One thing I love about my wedding couples is they are NOT traditional. They don't want to do the same thing the same way everyone else does. I find myself drawn to that assuredly because I am no different. I mean my hubby is a stay at home dad, we are a one income family and I invested my savings in a retirement home in South Africa. By no means am I ordinary or checking the same boxes everyone else does. Just like my couples.
These two wanted their photos to feel kind of like a bunch of polaroid snaps. Photos that felt like they were taken from the guest standpoint and I'd like to say I feel like we nailed it.
Family Tradition
I have been photographing Meghan and her sisters here in Jacksonville and even after they moved a way for some time. It meant the world to me when she reached out and asked me to be a part of their day. When a couple decided to invite less than 25 people to a wedding and decides to have you there to capture and be a part of it to say its humbling and an honor doesn't; even do it justice.
