My Dream clients dO IT their WAY.

Midday? In the full-blown heat of a Florida summer? In their own backyard? Hell yes—if that’s how you want to do it, then that’s how it should be done! Meghan and Cory knew exactly what they wanted: an intimate, no-fuss wedding where the love was the main event. Instead of dropping a ton of cash on a fancy venue, they poured their hearts (and their budget) into their home, making it the perfect place to celebrate their love. And let me tell you—it was absolutely perfect.

One of the things I love most about my wedding couples is that they are anything but traditional. They don’t follow the same old formula or feel the need to check every box on the "wedding must-do" list. They want their day to reflect them—their love, their story, and their vibe. And honestly? That’s my jam. I’m drawn to it, probably because I’m wired the same way. Tradition? Overrated. Let’s do something real instead.

Take me, for example: my hubby’s a stay-at-home dad, we run our household on a single income, and I decided to throw my savings into a retirement home… in South Africa. Yup, not your typical "American Dream" setup, but it works for us, just like Meghan and Cory’s backyard wedding worked for them. I’m not checking off the boxes that society says we should, and neither are my couples. And I love that.

I think that’s why I end up becoming friends with nearly every one of my clients—we’re kindred spirits. There’s this unspoken understanding between us that life is better when you make it your own, and you aren’t afraid to break a few rules along the way. Meghan and Cory? They totally embody that spirit. They wanted an intimate celebration, and they created a day that was true to them, no fluff, no pressure—just love, laughter, and their closest people.

That’s what I live for. The couples who do things their way, who aren’t afraid to embrace their quirks, and who turn their weddings into an extension of who they are. It makes my job so much more fun, and the photos? Pure magic. Every time.

Family Tradition

I have been photographing Meghan and her sisters here in Jacksonville for years now. Even after some of them moved away they still made time to book with me with they were home to visit. Clearly it meant the world to me when she reached out and asked me to be a part of their day. When a couple decides to invite less than 25 people to their wedding, wants to have you there to capture and be a part of it is humbling and an honor.

For these two, they wanted their photos to feel kind of like a bunch of polaroid snaps. Moments that felt like they were taken from the guest standpoint. I'd like to say I feel like we nailed it.

Kindred Spirits

If unscripted moments, chill vibes, killer style, and a classic car that makes you feel like you just stepped into a movie are your jam, then I might just be the photographer for you. Actually, scratch that—I definitely am! I live for those off-the-cuff, spontaneous moments that you just can’t plan. The ones where you’re laughing so hard you forget I’m even there with a camera, or when the light hits just right, and suddenly, it’s like the whole world melts away, leaving just you and your love.

There’s something about capturing those real, unpolished moments that makes my heart race. Sure, we’ll get a couple of the posed shots your mom wants to hang on her wall (because moms love those), but the magic really happens when you let your guard down and just be. That’s where the good stuff lives—those little in-between moments where your personality shines through, where the laughter is real, and where you’re just having a damn good time.

And let’s be honest—if you’ve got great style, I’m here for it. If you’ve got a rad car and want to show it off, I’m extrahere for it. I mean, nothing makes a wedding day pop like rolling up in something sleek and classic. The photos practically take themselves at that point (but I’m still gonna work my magic, of course). Whether it’s an engagement session where you’re casually lounging in your favorite denim or a wedding day filled with vintage vibes, I’m all about capturing your story in a way that feels authentic, relaxed, and totally you.

So, if you’re looking for a photographer who thrives on unscripted moments, chill vibes, and a shared love of great style and cool cars, I’m your girl. Let’s make some magic together.
